In late 2008, Sanctuary Friends began development of its new "blue&green occasions" program, headquartered at the Florida Keys Eco-Discovery Center. The program allows us to offer this incredible environmental center as a venue for private uses -- special celebrations, business meetings and other occasions – with full service event planning incorporating an ecologically friendly theme in this unique waterfront setting. Our new Event Manager has been busy helping people meet and celebrate in a green way. Using the center for special occasions increases visitation and also offers people a way to give back to our conservation efforts.
