SFFFK Volunteers Needed
We need volunteers to help us with tasks such as:
ò
· Participating in beach clean-ups - we will contact you when we need help. This usually happens two or three times a year. If you are interested, let us know that you would like to help with beach cleanups.
ò
· Helping with management of Buoy Banks – These banks are located in dive and snorkel shops from Key Largo to Key West. We are in need of volunteers who have the ability to visit the shops once a month to collect, deposit the donations along with maintaining a positive relationship with the shops.
ò
· Watching public notices in area newspapers for environmental issues. If you could take responsibility for watching a paper in your area, and then either scanning or typing up the public notices for Conservation Commissions, fishing, or other items of environmental interest, please let us know.

· Environmental movie night - Environmental Movie Night twelve or more times a year. The one big hold up - who would be willing to put in the time and effort to pull this together? · Putting up posters to advertise events - We need help to put up posters. This usually only happens a few times a year. If you are interested, contact us through our online form or call the SFFFK office: 305-289-2288.

· Going to governmental meetings when we need a crowd - we never can tell when this will happen. We will put a notice in The SFFFK e-newsletter asking for people to attend a specific meeting. Sign up to receive The SFFFK e-newsletter with our online form.

All volunteers are asked to keep track of their hours and let SFFFK know how much time they have donated. These hours will help us in applying for grants, so any amount of time you give has even more impact than you may ever know!
